Aaron & TiantianWelcome to ATeverywhere! We are Aaron and Tiantian, and we’re a cross-cultural couple in our twenties with a passion for travel. After our first short trip together in 2010, the travel bug has hit us hard and we have never stopped asking ourselves “which places are we going to conquer next?”

For the past 2 years, we travelled not only to gain new experiences, but as a means to meet up because we are residing in different countries. After completing the ‘A’ levels, Aaron had to stay in Singapore to serve 2 years of national service like every Singaporean male does, while Tiantian furthered her studies in London. Yet, the distance had not stopped us from travelling to 5 different places, which includes Guilin, Qingdao, Sanya, Bali and Taiwan. Despite the restricted length of the trips, we cherish each of them very much as they were the only times we can escape seeing each other on the computer screen. (:

In 2012, Aaron has finally finished serving his national service, and has a large part of the year to himself before joining Tiantian in London for further studies. He spent this precious chunk of time to backpack in New Zealand, and visited Tiantian in London with a trip to Munich, Salzburg, Vienna and Prague during spring.

This year onwards, being based in London for studies, we will be exploring more of Europe from the West to the East. Hopefully, by the end of our studies, we would have explored every part of beautiful Europe! :)

While we have not yet follow the likes of couples who have given up their jobs to travel the world (not that we have one to start with!), the wanderlust within us will not stop us from making the best out of our available time to travel together. Perhaps some day after we have graduated and saved enough money, we will finally embark on our dream Round The World trip…

In view of that, ATeverywhere was created in mid 2011 to document our travels, be it those that we embarked together as a couple or those on our own. We would like to share our tips and experiences with our friends, family and like-minded travellers, so that you can be convinced of the wonders of travel and make informed choices during your own trip.  Hopefully, our blog will bring travel inspiration home with you, even if you can’t be on the road.
